Attn WA Landlords: WA Government is taking steps to trace landlords who fail to lodge tenancy bonds

WA Departments of Consumer Protection and Communities are going to target landlords who fail to lodge tenancy bonds through the WA Bond Assistance Loan Scheme.

Eligible Western Australian’s can apply for no-interest and fee-free loans to cover in-going property costs when they move.

It includes all or part of the bond and up to 2 weeks rent in advance.

Under the Residential Tenancies Act, WA landlords must lodge tenancy bonds with the bond administrator within 14 days.

Landlords who fail to comply may face a $2,000 infringement notice or a fine of up to $20,000 for every breach, if the matter goes to court.

Avoid the "he said/she said".

RealRenta creates a file for each tenancy.

RealRenta Landlords and tenants can upload all documents onto the RealRenta platform , with each entry dated and time stamped.
