The Greens are proposing to re-regulate the SA energy sector in a bid to reduce electricity bills.
The proposal, also aims to boost investment in
renewable and to establish a public energy provider.
The proposal suggests households would save $200 per
year.
Under the
plan, a $1.2 billion solar fund will provide grants to landlords to install
solar panels on their properties.
Renters
could save up to $89- per year on energy costs.
The plan
also looks to offer storage incentives for families to add battery storage to
solar panels, under a $2.2 billion scheme.
